J.S.O Environmental is a UK-based professional environmental, energy and sustainability consultancy. We are a sister company to J.S.O Fire Safety Consultants, focused on energy compliance, sustainability reporting, EPCs, building performance testing, handover support and in-use property compliance.
We support developers, landlords, architects, contractors, managing agents and public-sector clients from early feasibility and planning through to design development, building control, construction-stage coordination, handover testing, certification and ongoing in-use compliance.
Our approach is to identify the likely energy, sustainability and compliance requirements for a project and coordinate the relevant reports, calculations, assessments and testing at the correct stage.
Fire-related services, including fire risk assessments, fire strategies, fire engineering, fire doors, compartmentation, Regulation 38 and fire-related smoke control, are handled by our sister company, J.S.O Fire Safety Consultants.

DirectorSamir is a Director of J.S.O Environmental and supports the strategic, commercial and client-facing direction of the business.
His role includes overseeing client relationships, reviewing new enquiries, supporting quotation and proposal development, and helping ensure that clients receive clear, practical advice from the outset of a project.
Samir works closely with the wider team to maintain a commercially aware approach to environmental, energy and sustainability compliance, with a focus on helping clients understand what may be required, when it is likely to be needed and how it fits into the wider project programme.
Darryl Revill
DirectorDarryl is a Director of J.S.O Environmental and supports the operational, technical and quality-led development of the business.
His role includes assisting with service planning, project oversight, client coordination and the development of robust internal processes as the consultancy grows.
Darryl works with the team to ensure J.S.O Environmental maintains a practical, proportionate and compliance-focused approach, supporting clients across property, construction and development projects where environmental, energy and sustainability input may be required.
Will Higgins
Operations ManagerWill is the Operations Manager for J.S.O Environmental and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day coordination and development of the consultancy.
His role includes managing enquiries, coordinating project requirements, supporting client communication, liaising with assessors and delivery partners, and helping ensure that work is progressed efficiently from initial instruction through to completion.
Will also supports business development, service coordination and the delivery of a clear client experience, helping clients understand the environmental, energy and sustainability information that may be required for their project.
